I’m Michelle McKenzie and I help people build the career, business, and life they love. I’m a seasoned international development professional, mentor, advisor, ICF-certified career and executive coach, and a Gallup-certified Global Strengths coach. I am passionate about transforming human potential into true power. As Founder and Chief Insights Officer at Empowering Insights, I am dedicated to helping you reach your career goals. 

With 17 years in international development, my experience spans the government and the private sector.  I worked for government agencies advancing impactful global programs, and with entrepreneurs supporting global enterprises. 

I hit a rough patch in my career where I started craving more of a personal connection to the outcome of my work. While my work in international development was purposeful and aligned with my desire to serve and contribute to the global good, I started to crave something more. I took action to clarify what I wanted from my career and discovered a deeper calling.

This calling evolved into a commitment to coaching utilizing my Maximizer talent to stimulate individual and group excellence. As a talented Maximizer, I help people leverage their strengths to achieve higher levels of excellence while living my core value of helping people, which is at the heart of my international development career and now coaching.
